| Kenyon College's streaming media server is an
experimental resource designed to evaluate:(1) technical requirements and
skills for maintaining streaming services for Kenyon College, (2) processes
required for adding pre-produced and broadcast (live) streamed media for
both academic and administrative activities and (3) faculty and administrative
expectations and development needs.
Academic or administrative requests to use services provided by the experimental streaming server will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Streaming services are not currently available for non-academic or administrative projects. While services available on our streaming server(s) are maintained, monitored and intended to be available upon demand, Kenyon College cannot guarantee unlimited availablilty of resources housed on our streaming server(s). Kenyon College has no immediate plans to provide additional production facilities for streaming media, but will continually evaluate use of streaming media to determine appropriate directions for campus streaming services. Kenyon's streaming services are administered by Kenyon College's Library and Information Services division (LBIS).
